How awesome it has been to be able to encourage, inspire and bring joy to someone's life via the medium of music!

Music and songwriting for me has always been about spontaneous expression and real experiences.

Travelling and seeing this vast country and meeting extaordinary people has been a wonderful canvas.

I often get asked how I write my songs and my simple response to that is .....God's inspiration! Now some peoples response to that might be, here we go again, the "I wanna thank God speech" but truely I'm often so amazed (and my wife even more so) at how a song comes together.

There is no formula. Sometimes there is a lyric and the challenge is to create the music around that, or other times the music comes first and this to me is more of a stretch, because what needs to be said is more important than a pretty song.

To all you songwriters out there we have the incredible privilage to present a message of hope. So I implore you to get out there and inspire your fellow man with music that offers hope,life and direction.
